Will we still have paper money?
Many of the decisions put into this project were meant to give the residents an opportunity to make money from their daily activities, through generating energy and producing food. We experimented with the idea of energy being a new form of currency. The idea that people are able to generate their own electricity through things like biking to work and wearing photovoltaic clothing while ultimately using their generated electricity or trading it for things such as food or specific services. Therefore the amount of energy one stores or produces gives them more power and social importance within a society. The potential for new business surrounding personal energy is huge.
